It was tough because I'd been talking to her for about a month on the internet and we had developed a nice relationship. She shared so much about ourselves many nights of IMing each other. Her pic was actually pretty good but she was kind of chunky especially for a 16 year old. Anyway last night I told her I'd be in her area in a few weeks and I said "want to see me?"
She said, "I don't know about that." In other words, she got kinda freaked out by that question, but hey- I had to ask her instead of wasting time. So I said, "Well, bye." She seemed kind of upset, but tough shit. I mean I understand how she felt, but still- I need to move on. I respect the fact that she wouldn't just hook up with anyone, but I need a girl who doesn't have much respect for herself and would just hook up with me in a hotel for one night. At least I'm maturing and understanding what I want in life.

Stay strong. You'll get through this troubling time.
When you feel down, I'm sure there's an available sock that can help you calm yourself.

Re: I dumped by internet girlfriend last night
How do you resolve disagreements in online relationships? What strategies were used to resolve conflicts and strengthen mutual understanding?

I avoid conflict in online relationships as much as possible. Now I actively use dating site and my goal is to have a normal, strong and trusting relationship. I choose an adequate partner who shares my values and thoughts. It's cool that this platform has smart algorithms that help to find the right partner. So I think I will find the right one soon!
